Accessibility
Last updated 12 October 2026
We build websites for other people, so ours should be usable by anyone who lands on it, whatever they use to get around the web. This page says what we aim for, where the site is now, and what we know still needs work.
If something here gets in your way, tell us. We'd rather hear about it than not.
What we aim for
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, at level AA. It's the standard we build client sites to, and the one we hold this site to as well.
What's in place
- A skip link at the top of every page, straight to the content.
- The site is marked up as British English, so screen readers pronounce it properly.
- A focus ring shows when you move through the site with a keyboard.
- Every picture of our work has a written description. Pictures that are only decoration are marked as such, so screen readers skip them.
- Numbers on the case studies are in the page itself, not drawn in later by script, so they read correctly with or without it.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the scrolling video, page transitions and counters stay still.
- Questions on the service pages are proper headings, so you can jump between them.
What we know still needs work
- The Broka adverts on that case study have a voiceover but no captions yet.
- The work carousels loop, and some people find a looping list harder to keep track of. Every piece of work is also listed once, in order, on the Work page.
- We haven't yet tested every page for colour contrast, keyboard order or with a screen reader end to end. Until we have, we're not claiming full AA.
