Nobody's touched it in years.
It's really common. The site got built, whoever built it moved on, and nobody's dared press update since. Now there's a list of plugins as long as your arm, a warning from Google or your host, and a site that's getting slower every month.
Old WordPress sites don't fail all at once. Then they do.
So we do it carefully. Back it all up, update it on a copy first, fix whatever breaks there (something usually does), and only then put it live. Then we keep on top of it so it never gets that far behind again.

Some sites are too far gone to be worth patching. If yours is one of them, we'll tell you, and what a rebuild would cost instead.
Most aren't though. Usually it's a careful afternoon or two, and the site's got years left in it.

Send us the site and a screenshot of whatever's worrying you. We'll tell you what we'd do and roughly what it'll cost before touching anything.
A one-off fix is quoted once we've looked at the site. Ongoing care is a monthly fee depending on how big the site is and how often it needs attention.
No. Most of the sites we fix were built by someone else. We'll have a proper look first so there are no surprises.
It might, which is exactly why we do it on a copy first. Anything that breaks gets fixed there, not on your live site.

Usually, yes. Old plugins, huge images and cheap hosting are the usual suspects, and most of it can be sorted without a rebuild.
When the theme is abandoned, the plugins it relies on don't exist any more, or fixing it would cost more than starting again. We'll tell you if that's where you are.
