Websites for builders

Websites for builders who want better enquiries, not more of them.

We're Sam and Rob, a small Leeds studio. We build websites for builders and trades around Yorkshire, and the job's nearly always the same: stop the site pulling in the wrong work, and make it obvious to the right people that you're the one to ring.

Sound familiar?

  • What comes throughIt's only a small job.

Serious work. Wrong enquiries.

You do proper projects. Extensions, full renovations, the kind of job that needs planning and a straight answer. But the enquiries don't reflect that. Free quote hunters, one-off repairs, jobs forty miles away. Every one of them costs you a site visit, or an evening pricing something that was never going to happen.

More enquiries isn't the answer. Better ones are.

So the website does some of the sorting for you. Real project photos, plain English on how you work and roughly what things cost, the areas you cover named clearly, and an honest line on what you don't take on. The right clients recognise themselves. Everyone else quietly moves on.

Straight talk on process and price

How a job runs and roughly what it costs, so people arrive already understanding it and the first conversation starts further down the line.

A brand that matches the work

If the van looks better than the website (or the other way round), we can sort that too.

How it works

  1. 1

    Talk

A short call. You tell us what you do and what the website isn't doing. We tell you straight whether we're the right people for it.

  2. 2

    Dig

Paid discovery, where we get properly under the skin of the business, the customers and the competition. The fee comes off the project if you go ahead.

  3. 3

    Map and Build

We plan the pages, write and design them, and build the site. You see it come together and sign off each stage.

  4. 4

    Grow

Launch isn't the finish line. We watch how people actually use the site and keep improving it.

Better enquiries.

Fed up of pricing the wrong jobs?

Tell us what kind of work you want more of, and where. We'll tell you honestly what the website would need to do to get it.

Projects start at £1,500 and go up with the number of pages, projects and how much writing and branding is involved. You get a proper quote once we understand the business.

No. We'll ask you a lot of questions (it's the bit people enjoy more than they expect) and write it from that. You check it sounds like you.

Not usually. Decent phone photos of real jobs do more than stock photos ever will. We'll tell you what to capture on the next few jobs.

The technical side and your Google Business Profile get set up properly as part of the build, with pages for the areas you want work from. Nobody honest can promise a position, but we can make sure you're in with a proper shout.

It helps. A site that looks like the standard of your work makes you easier to recommend, and gives the architect something they're happy to send clients to.

No. We work with all sorts, but trades and specialists are a big part of it.
